Disposable vapes are super easy to use. Just take it out of the package, remove foil, and start vaping. But sometimes you can have problems with your brand new disposable. This is how to deal with it.
Make Sure You Unpacked Your Vape Properly
Make sure that you remove all the packaging materials, like plastic or rubber caps protecting the airflow holes or the mouthpiece, which may oversee and prevent your vape from working.
Check Your Vape for a Leak
Inspect your vape for leaks. If a small amount of e-liquid has leaked into or around the device, it might affect its operation. Use a paper towel to wipe off the e-liquid and be sure to check that liquid hasn’t entered the battery chamber.
Check the Way You’re Holding Your Vape
Oh yeah, important tip: don’t hold your vape with your fingers over the airflow holes. If you do, the vape might try its best but, blocked by your fingers, it won’t produce any vapour.
Try Puffing a Little Harder
Depending on your disposable vape device, this might be done by dragging on the mouthpiece. If your mod, vape or any other e-cig is a bit of a butt-dick, but it isn’t hitting, try taking a harder pull on the mouthpiece to activate the battery and heat up your juice.
Rechargeable Vape? Try Charging the Battery
If yours has a rechargeable battery, plug it in and give it a full charge, because sometimes the battery can be drained right out of the box.

Does the Vape Have Adjustable Airflow? Try Opening It
Check if your vape has adjustable airflow – ie, a dial that allows you to open up the airflow and let more air in. This manifests itself as a bigger hole in the device, which will lead to more air travelling through it and, in turn, turning into more vapour.
Can’t Draw Air Through the Vape? The Parts Could Be Misaligned
If the vape is packed tightly and you can’t suck air through, you might have the coils out of the center hole. If this is the case, you can try tapping the vape against some soft surface, just don’t go too hard and damage it while trying to fix it.
Brand-New Disposable Vape Tastes Burnt? Here’s What Could Be Happening
This can often result from wicking material that is either dry or has trapped air bubbles. If you find that your vape taste burnt, let it sit for a few minutes before trying it again. Give the device a gentle shake so that the e-liquid can make its way to the wicking material and dissipate any air bubbles.
Check to Confirm that Your Disposable Vape Is Authentic
Each vape should still be sealed with security tape, and you should be able to verify the authenticity of your juice – which can as easily be saikoro as lemon flavour – on the manufacturer’s website. Aside from being unsafe, counterfeits usually just don’t work properly.
If All Else Fails, Return the Vape to the Retailer
If you have tried all the above and your vape still doesn’t work, we recommend that you contact the retailer and ask for a refund or replacement: decent retailers will help you resolve the situation if you’re using a faulty device.

Reasons Why Your Disposable Vape Is Not Hitting
Understanding Vape Parts First
If you want to know why your disposable vape isn’t working, here’s what you should know about the anatomy:
Battery: Powers the vape. If it’s dead or malfunctioning, the vape won’t work.
Coils: Vapour is produced from your e-liquid by heating the coils but, and I use the word but as you now should too, if the coils are not heating up, then there won’t be any vapour.
Mouthpiece: The place where you inhale the vapor. Can become clogged or misaligned and keep vapour out of your mouth.
Potential Issues – How to Fix Your Disposable Vape Not Hitting
A Disposable Vape That Isn’t Turned On
For certain vapes, the mechanism can be a ‘click to turn on’ button – so, check the instructions and be sure to activate the device.

Dead Battery Disposable vape
For vapes that are rechargeable, check that the battery is charged. For disposable vapes, if the battery is dead, it’s time to get a new one.
Out of Juice
And since disposable vapes tend to have a sub-ohm resistance coil, this can cause the device to dry burn and leave a chemical flavour in your mouth. So how can you realise if your vape is running dry? Let’s examine some signs to look out for. Disposable vapes tend to last for a couple of days up to a couple of weeks. If your device starts to burn out e-liquid considerably quicker than predicted, it could be dry. Another sign that your vape might have run out of e-juice is if it tastes burnt.
Blocked Mouthpiece
Is the mouthpiece blocked? Scrape any blockage from the mouthpiece with a pin or toothpick.
Blocked Airflow Holes
Use a pin or toothpick to clear any blockages in the airflow holes.
Air Bubbles in the E-Liquid
Shake the vape gently to remove air bubbles.
Dried Out Wicking
Allow the vape to sit for about 10 minutes to steep the e-liquid into the wick.
Overheating
If the machine feels hot, put it on a table to let it cool off before trying again.
Frozen E-Liquid
Warm up the vape and shake it gently, dribbling out the e-liquid again.
What Not to Do When Your Disposable Vape Is Not Hitting
Don’t try to recharge the battery: Disposable vapes are not designed to be recharged.
Do not attempt to take apart the vape: This may cause further damage to the unit and will void any warranty.
When All Else Fails
If your disposable vape breaks down and can’t be repaired, claim a refund or replacement from the retailer or manufacturer.

How to Fix a Disposable Vape – The Bottom Line
Considering the simple design of throwaway vapes, it wouldn’t be hard to understand the reason of problems, and troubleshoot and solve most problems; for problems that just can’t be solved, naturally, ‘all employees’ of retailer must be contacted and replaced as if it’s nothing. They are also more attentive to product and services if there were real experiences and feedbacks.
